Sight Words-Learning to Read (Pre-Primer)

Developing a strong sight word vocabulary is an important part of learning to read. It is especially important for children with learning disabilities in basic reading and those who cannot use phonics skills to decode words.

Fruitty Puzzles – Fun Printables for Kids

A puzzle is a problem or enigma that tests the ingenuity of the solver. In these 4 piece puzzles, the child is intended to put together pieces in a logical way in order to come up with the whole image. There are 3 difficulty levels:

1. For the little ones I’d recommend to print out the game in 2 copies (one as a template, and the other one for cutting up)-thus they can lay out the pieces on top of the main template picture.

2. For a bit older children (toddlers for instance) it would be easier to have a template picture in front of them while putting the puzzle together.
